ECG training: questions before you book
Do I need any experience?
No. The course is open to everyone aged 18 or over, and no previous qualifications or experience are required.
Will I use ECG equipment myself?
Yes. The practical session is hands-on, on mannequins, using ECG equipment.
Does the course teach me to interpret ECGs?
The course covers the principles of the ECG and how to record one. It explains how tracings are reviewed, but the focus is on recording a good ECG.
How long is the course?
One practical session of about four hours at our Putney centre.
What certificate do I get?
A Certificate of Completion from London Medical School, CPD-accredited, worth 8 CPD hours. It does not expire.
What if none of the dates suit me?
Choose “Flexible date” in the date list. You book and pay now, and the office contacts you to arrange a suitable training date.
How do I pay, and can I spread the cost?
