GENERAL PRACTICE
This course is specifically tailored towards training health care professionals working in general practice.
You will learn and understand how to take a thorough drug history and make relevant and appropriate consultation records in line with NHS guidance. This will allow you to reach formal diagnoses, formulate differential diagnosis plans and be able to perform full clinical examinations. This programme also allows you to fulfil your CPD requirements. Modules are practical led sessions applying theoretical knowledge taught by an experience consultant pharmacist.
This course can be used in conjunction with pharmacist revalidation. It prepares pharmacists to work in general practice as part of the new government initiative to increase the number of Pharmacists in Primary Care Networks (PCNs).
All modules are delivered by our Expert Recognised Consultant Prescriber Pharmacist – Mohammed Harb – MPharmS (Hons), Practice Pharmacist Lead for PCMS.
Location: London Medical School, 208 Upper Richmond Road, SW15 6TD. The training times are 6pm-10pm.

LONG TERM CONDITIONS
Hypertension - £150
Aim:
- To establish a pharmaceutical treatment for patients with hypertension
Objectives:
- To understand the anatomical background of hypertension
- To be able to examine a patient with hypertension
- To be able to prescribe in line with NICE guidelines
Prescribing in Mental Health - £150
Aim:
- To establish a pharmaceutical treatment for patients with mental health
Objectives:
- To understand the anatomical background of mental health
- To be able to examine a patient with mental health

Diabetes Online - £150
Aim:
- To be able to prescribe for type 2 diabetes in general practice
Objectives:
- To understand how to initiate drug treatment
- To understand how to offer lifestyle advice
- To learn how to interpret diabetes related blood results
- To understand co-morbidities alongside diabetes
Asthma - £150
Aim:
- To be able to demonstrate effective prescribing practices regarding asthma
Objectives:
- To interpret spirometry and other diagnostic tools results
- To understand and be able to identify asthma & COPD red flags
- To understand the pharmacological interventions
ASTHMA and COPD - £150
Aim:
- To be able to demonstrate effective prescribing practices regarding asthma and COPD

ACUTE CONDITIONS
Cardiology - £150
Aim:
- To be able to demonstrate clinical effectiveness during a cardiology consultation.
Objectives:
- To learn how to carry out a cardiology consultation
- To learn how to appropriately examine heart function
- To understand heart anatomy and how this aids you in a clinical consultation
ENT - £150
Aim:
- To be able to demonstrate clinical effectiveness when presented ENT issues.
Objectives:
- To learn how to carry out ENT examinations
- To learn ENT anatomy
- To learn how to carry out an ENT consultation
Dermatology - £150
Aim:
- To be able to demonstrate clinical effectiveness when presented with skin conditions.
Objectives:
- To learn how describe skin lesions
- To learn how take a thorough history (past, family & social history)
- To learn how accurately diagnose skin conditions
Respiratory - £150
Aim:
- To be able to conduct a consultation with patients presenting with chest infection symptoms.
Objectives:
- To be able to conduct a full clinical examination of the chest
- To be able to rule out any red flags
- To be able to distinguish between viral and bacterial chest infections
- To be able to provide the most up to date treatment for chest infections

I recently attended the Autologous facial training course. This course was presented in a clean, clinical setting with adequate resources provided! The structure of the course was smooth and timely and didn’t feel rushed at all. We had plenty of time for practical and theory. The lecturer was friendly but firm, which I really liked about her! She took the course seriously and ensured we were all given the opportunity to ask questions and all questioned us to assess our learning.
I really enjoyed the course and I can’t wait to get started. I would highly recommend them for courses. Very easy to get to and only a 2minute walk from Putney station.

I have been to this centre several times. I attended medical aesthetic courses there. It was amazing how they were informative giving a theoretical and a step by step practical training. It was amazing how you feel really confident with the injecting skills and all the therapy process after you get the training. They also have a phlebotomy course that is well-designed and helpful. I attended phlebotomy training on Saturday and it was amazing. I went there feeling really nervous and worried but I left confident and competent about phlebotomy and the venepuncture technique. The doctor was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time for practice and really boosted my confidence. It started off with looking at the equipment to being able to take someone’s blood. Honestly, I can't be any happier to find this medical school in London.
I have been searching for those types of school for aesthetics, but I didn't find any of them as good.
They make sure the classes are in small groups and each student will be able to actually work on them.
