Student reviews
What our students say
After being dissatisfied with an aesthetic course that I had taken with another provider, I was advised to contact Centre for Medical Sciences & Research and they have been great! All information is delivered by medical professionals. The delegate numbers are kept to minimum per course too... If you are looking for the real deal in medical aesthetic training, you have come to the right place.
Honestly, I can’t be any happier to find this medical school in London. I have been searching for those types of school for aesthetics, but I didn’t find any of them as good. They make sure the classes are in small groups and each student will be able to actually work on them.
I’ve never completed a course like this before and I cannot express how great was. I would definitely recommend this to medic and non-medic students who want to start aesthetics. I will be looking into taking more of these classes.

Questions
Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Practice: questions before you enrol
Who can enrol?
Registered healthcare professionals with a Level 6 degree and no conditions on their practice, or holders of a QUALIFI Level 5 or Level 6 in Aesthetic Practice (or equivalent) that includes at least one Level 6 unit. Entry is by centre interview.
How is it assessed?
Through online MCQs, short answer and extended response papers, written tasks, practical observations, professional discussions, oral questioning and reflective journals. Each practical unit needs 10 formative and 10 summative procedures, observed by an assessor in a real clinic setting; simulation is not allowed.
Can my previous qualifications count towards it?
Possibly, through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). QUALIFI accepts credit from regulated awarding organisations or universities at the same level or higher, backed by a certificate or transcript, where at least 70% of a unit’s learning outcomes overlap. Up to 70% of the units can be exempted; the rest must be completed in full with QUALIFI assessments. CPD certificates cannot be used for RPL, and practice experience cannot replace the observed formative and summative procedures.
Do I need Basic Life Support training?
Yes. QUALIFI requires a current and valid Basic Life Support and anaphylaxis management qualification. Registered healthcare professionals, such as GMC, NMC, GDC, GPhC or HCPC registrants, are exempt if they can show they have completed BLS and anaphylaxis training as part of their CPD. If you need it, we run the QUALIFI Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis at our centre in Putney, London, in one practical day.
Which treatment areas are covered?
Anti-wrinkle injections across multiple facial areas, and dermal fillers including lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds and jawline contouring.

You can start at any time. The course normally takes up to 12 months, and a fast track is available.
