Vaccination and immunisation training: questions before you book
Do I need any medical experience?
No. The course is open to anyone aged 18 or over, and no previous qualifications or experience are required.
Which vaccines does the course cover?
Flu (influenza) vaccines and COVID-19 vaccines, as given in the UK.
Does it cover travel vaccines?
No. Travel vaccines are covered on our separate Travel Vaccination course.
Is there hands-on practice?
Yes. After the theory you learn the intramuscular injection types and practise under supervision.
What certificate do I get?
A Certificate of Completion, CPD-accredited for 8 CPD hours, with no expiry date.
What if none of the dates suit me?
Choose “Flexible date” in the date list. You book and pay now, and the office contacts you to arrange a suitable training date.
How do I pay, and can I spread the cost?
Online by card, or choose Klarna or PayPal at checkout to spread the cost. You can also pay by bank transfer, or by cash or card at the School.
