Description
Most phlebotomy job applications ask for proof of venepuncture experience. The Work Experience Programme gives you exactly that: twelve supervised four-hour sessions taking blood from real people in our permanent London clinic, alongside our practitioners.
What you receive
- Twelve sessions of four hours each, booked around your availability. Sessions run every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
- An official reference letter from the School confirming three months of work experience once the twelve sessions are complete.
- The Certificate of Completion of the Phlebotomy Enhanced Programme, worth 48 CPD hours.
- Confidence and speed with the vacutainer and butterfly systems on a wide range of patients.
Who can join
The programme is open to students who hold both the Certificate of Attendance and the Certificate of Competence from our Phlebotomy Training. If you have not yet trained with us, book the Phlebotomy Training and Work Experience package instead: the one-day training plus all twelve sessions together for £720.
How it works
After you purchase, our office will contact you to agree your session dates. Longer programmes are available: 24 sessions count as six months of experience and 48 sessions as twelve months. Ask the office for details.
The price of £540 includes VAT and is fixed: discount codes do not apply to the Work Experience Programme. Instalments are available at checkout with Klarna or PayPal.
